Reuben add lies about Origin

I was watching television and saw the Arby's "NY Reuben" commercial... Plain and simple...

the Reuben sandwich was not invented in New York... the origin is Omaha Nebraska... pretty easy to look up too, no real excuse would be acceptable... a lie told over and over does not make it the truth no matter what...

a simple humorous disclaimer is all that would be required... and your requirement for at least 100 words is an inane attempt to discourage people for expounding on their angst and frustration on your complaint form... being verbose on a topic does not help explain something that is simple to describe. If you can't get to the point precisely and concisely most give up...

but I like the challenge...

so stop saying the Reuben is from New York when it is if fact from Omaha... New York Deli's are where you get Pastrami...

Not good customer service anymore 20 minutes wait at counter. I was the only one there at the counter. The girl didnt have any help that took the order. She stood putting liners on trays waiting for my order. She was supposed to be getting the shakes obviously because no one else did. So after food finally came up she looked for shakes and then made them. No apology , no caring about the customer. We will never go back.

My family and i went to Arbys in Dublin Va this morning and it seemed like a manager or to were having disputes between one another service was good but very awkward listening to them while waiting on our food.Very unprofessional management there.

Mens bathroom filthy sink black urinal gross .garbage can over flowing .when i said something i was told there to busy .ladys behind counter hair just flying .and lady working drive threw standing back joking and messing around with cook ..beef n cheddar was cold potato wedges unsalted. Then they were out of arby sauce. How can a arbys be out of arby sauce. Makes no since. Guess ill be going to McDonalds across the street from now on .

While visiting your Arby's in Lowell Michigan on Dec 15th 2016 at about 4:30. The food was excellent our casher (a man I can't remem ber name) was delightful ,very personable , happy, playful with the children in our group , who loved him instantly. This casher was the only one to come help us after 5 min of waiting. Waiting while seeing the manager ( Nicole) and four others seemingly to busy to greet us or say a word as to the delay in service. Our next interaction with Nicole was to experience her rath upon our casher for asking her for help to log on to the cash drawer a bit to loudly I guess. She cuationed him very loudly about this offense . Which our group found ironic. The casher remained good natured about it ! Finding we needed the aisstance of this manager nicole to help run my card. I was in fear of her rath and asked the casher to whisper to get her help. Which she again was discurdious to our fun loving casher. It was all kind of up beat and made fun by our group and the delightful casher ( wish I new his name). Upon leaving I was going to see if I could by a toy only from a fun meal to stop an argument with my grandkids. I know very indulgent , but I'm a grandma ! Again we face your nicole at the counter with a judging tone and confused if I can even buy a toy with out a fun meal. Im not proud if my behavior I was fed up with this nicole person who takes herself WAY to serious and I told her to forget it. It was obvious she did not want to go above and beyond some rule to help a grandma give in to crying grandchildren. This whole story really is not anything horrible , just a show of kindness ( the nice casher) and someone who appears to the world that she (nicole) can run an Arby's with no kindness what so ever.

SANDWICH MADE WRONG!!!!

MY COMPLAINT WAE I WENT TO THE ARBY'S AT 4477 YOUNGSTOWN RD. WARREN, OHIO. THE 2 TIME I WENT THERE MY SANDWICH WAS WRONG I ORDERED A CRISPY CHICKEN SANDWICH WITHOUT TOMATO BECAUSE I'M ALLERGIC TO THEM. I CALLED THE RESTAURANT TO INFORMED THEM OF THIS AND THAT THIS WAS THE 2ND TIME THIS HAS HAPPEN I WAS VERY POLITE ABOUT IT. WHEN SPEAKING TO THE EVENING MANAGER I INFORMED HER OF THIS AND TO TELL HER TO LET WHOEVER PREPARED THE FOOD TO JUST BE MORE CAREFUL BECAUSE I AM ALLERGIC TO TOMATO'S THAT SOMEONE COULD GET VERY SICK. Arby's Near Death Experience

This past Friday Arby's #5 meal cost me $1,000 in medical bills and lost wages. Ate the food here and got violently ill 2 hours later. Talked with Cooperate and their insurance company denied claim. Repeated message over and over was "you can't prove it." What I can prove is Arby's washed it's hands of this incident but just know their employees appear not to wash their hands. Eat meal and violently ill 2 hours later. . .(no one else in the family did!) do the frickin math Arby's! Me and my dog got sick and since it was a bacterial infection a doctor's visit was necessary and I, who ended up eating most of it, ended up on a 2 hour IV treatment. Save yourself and eat anywhere but here! I'm also telling everyone I know to help them avoid this ***, and will be boycotting Arby's due to their response forever.

Yes fecal bacteria is passed through bad hygiene and improper cleanliness standards.I believe you are right. I wil never eat there now, thanks for the review and warning us.

Actually, you really can't prove it was caused by Arby's food. You should carefully examine what and where you ate for the 48 or so hours prior to becoming sick.

If you sought medical attention, what was documented as the cause of your sickness? What insurance companies are looking for, when someone claims food poisoning, is medical documentation that proves it was the restaurant's fault.

I once swore up and down a pizzeria had caused me to become horribly sick. Once in the ER, test results proved it was stomach flu.

My wife and I went through the Arbys drive thru at the St Clairsville Ohio location and tried to order 2 large orders of regular fries and was told by the order taker that regular fries were no longer available! Why? Some people don t like the hot spice curly fries nor care for their taste

Front employees not wearing gloves

Today i watched two employees, 1 even handling the register and money, take her hands, wipe her face, then took off the head band she was wearing, off. She then proceeded to put it back in her hair before she got fries and handled other food.

The employee in the back was wearing gloves while preparing food. I will not be back until the front employees start wearing gloves. The Arbys in Mt. Vernon IN is so disorganized and the wait is long.

Customer service needs to be improved also.

While i was there placing my order and waiting for my order, the employee never once said hello, greeted a customer or smiled once. I have worked in customer service for over 25 years and this would be unacceptable if i was this persons boss.

Arbys Customer Care Review

Ordered food through the drive thru and parked to eat. Employees called the police stating we were there 3 hours. Offered to show police the receipt showing we had received our food not even an hour before and that we were eating and visiting. Officer said it was unnecessary and we were fine. Will not be returning to this location.

This is the worst place to go!!!! Employees are idiots or something!!!

After making wait more than 5 minutes to take my order I ask for the mint chocolate swirl shake small, it wasn't topped with Andes candy pieces or the whipped cream, when I went to ask about it they told me that the small version does not comes with that I asked them were does it says that because the ad does not shows it like that, the dumb cashier look at the ad and then to me and said: I don't know !!! So I had to pay 2.99 for another milkshake to finally have what I originally asked for!! Besides all this the place is super dirty and smell bad!!!

My wife ordered a small mint chocolate shake. It arrived with no chocolate.

When she asked "Where is the chocolate?" The guy behind the counter said "The small doesn't come with chocolate." My wife replied "Well, then it's not a mint chocolate shake. It's only a mint shake." We pointed out that their sign did not say anything about the small not having chocolate.

She told him that if there were only two shake sizes available with mint and chocolate, then one was the large and the other was small. If they're going to be this obtuse, they should at least tell the customer when they order the small that there is no chocolate.
